How do I place an order? +
Browse our website, choose the hair you like, select your length and quantity, and add it to your cart. Fill in your shipping address at checkout and pay online securely.
Once payment is confirmed, we arrange shipment within 24 hours and send you a tracking number via WhatsApp and email.

Is it safe to pay online? +
Yes, absolutely. Our checkout is secured with SSL encryption and all card payments are processed through PayFast โ South Africa's leading and most trusted payment gateway. We never store your card details.
We've been operating in South Africa for over 12 years with a physical store in Durban. You can trust us.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it? +
Please WhatsApp us at (+27) 074 254 8990 as soon as possible. We process and ship within 24 hours, so time is important.
Once shipped, the order cannot be cancelled โ but you can still return it within 30 days of receiving it.
Do you offer wholesale pricing? +
Yes! We welcome wholesale enquiries. With 12+ years and our own factory, we can offer competitive pricing. WhatsApp us or email service@oceanhair.co.za and we'll provide a quote within 1 business day.

Orders are processed within 24 hours of payment. After dispatch:

Will I receive a tracking number? +
Yes. Once dispatched, we send your tracking number via email and WhatsApp. If you haven't received it within 24 hours of payment, WhatsApp us and we'll sort it immediately.
Do you ship internationally? +
Currently we ship within South Africa only. This keeps delivery fast, prices competitive, and avoids customs complications. If you're outside SA, contact us to discuss options.
What if my parcel arrives damaged or is lost? +
If your parcel arrives damaged, photograph it immediately and WhatsApp the photos within 48 hours of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement or refund promptly.
If tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it, contact us within 7 days and we'll investigate with the courier.

Is your hair 100% human hair? +
Yes โ every product is made from 100% real human hair. No synthetic blends, no shortcuts. We own our factory (12+ years), which means we control the entire supply chain and can guarantee quality on every piece we sell.
Why does the hair have a smell when I first receive it? +
Completely normal. After collection, the hair is treated with disinfection and conditioning agents โ this creates a mild smell of shampoo or oil.
Simply wash once with a gentle shampoo and the smell will be completely gone.
Is there normal shedding when I first use the hair? +
A small amount of short strands coming out during first combing or washing is normal โ these are loose pieces from manufacturing. Comb them out and it will stop.
Our wefts are double-stitched to prevent shedding during normal use. If you cut the weft to adjust volume, always seal the cut edges afterwards.
How long will the hair last? +
With proper care, 12 months or more. The key is consistent conditioning โ ideally 2โ3 times per week. Well-maintained hair retains its softness, shine, and natural appearance far longer than neglected hair.
Can I colour or bleach the hair? +
Yes โ 100% human hair can be coloured, bleached, and heat styled. We strongly recommend having this done by a professional stylist.
Can I heat style with straighteners or a curling iron? +
Yes. Always use a heat protectant spray and keep temperatures below 180ยฐC to maintain the hair's health and longevity.
What does "glueless" mean? Do I need tools to install? +
Glueless wigs (Wear-Go and Pre-Everything styles) are worn without adhesive. They use adjustable straps, combs, and elastic bands to hold securely โ no glue, no damage to your edges.
Most customers can put one on in under 5 minutes.

How often should I wash my hair? +
We recommend washing every 7โ10 wears, or at least once a week. Use a gentle, sulphate-free shampoo followed by a rich conditioner.
How do I wash my wig or extensions properly? +

How should I store my wig when not wearing it? +
Always store on a wig stand or mannequin head in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. This maintains the shape, prevents tangling, and lets the hair breathe.
For travel, fold gently inside out in a breathable bag โ never compress tightly or store damp.
My hair has become dry and rough. How do I restore it? +

We want you to love your hair. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
What is your return policy? +
We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of delivery. Items must be returned unworn, unaltered, in original packaging with all tags attached.
What items cannot be returned? +
How do I initiate a return or exchange? +
Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order:
Share your order number and reason โ we'll guide you through the process. Refunds are processed within 5โ7 business days of receiving the returned item.
Can I exchange for a different style or length? +
Yes โ within 30 days. Price difference applies if swapping to a higher or lower priced item. WhatsApp us to get started.
